Day 1: Santo Domingo
Welcome to the Dominican Republic!
We’ll greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in the historic Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo.
Optional: Explore the city center or join us for an afternoon visit to the captivating Tres Ojos National Park, a limestone cave with three mesmerizing freshwater lakes.
In the evening, savor a delicious tradition Dominican welcome dinner at a seaside location. Mingle with your fellow travelers and get ready to dive deep into Dominican culture.
Nightcap: After dinner, the choice is yours! Relax and unwind, or join us for a sizzling night at Museo Del Ron, a popular spot in the Colonial Zone known for its lively atmosphere and dance floor.

Day 2: Santo Domingo
Start your day with a guided tour of the Colonial Zone, the first permanent European settlement in the Americas. Follow Christopher Columbus’ footsteps and discover the first cathedral, hospital, customs house, and university in the New World.
Afternoon Heat Up: Join our first dance class focusing on Merengue. Learn about its history, significance in Dominican culture, and master the basic steps
Night Moves: Weather permitting, we’ll head to Bonye for live salsa music amidst the colonial ruins. One of the dancing highlights of this trip! Sway under the stars, mingle with friendly locals, and let the music guide your moves.

Day 3: Isla Saona
Today, we set sail to the breathtaking Isla Saona. With golden sands, crystal blue waters, and coconut palms stretching for miles, this paradise offers the perfect setting for a day of sun, sea, and Dominican rum. Spend your day dancing on board, swimming, and soaking up the sun on the stunning beaches.er the stars, mingle with friendly locals, and let the music guide your moves.

Day 4-7: Las Terrenas
Trade the bustling city for the laid-back charm of Las Terrenas, a picturesque beach town located on the Samaná Peninsula. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon settling in, exploring the colorful streets, or simply relaxing on the beach. No need to hurry, the next few days we will be here to dance, relax, and enjoy this beautiful peninsula.
Dominican Delights: During your stay, we’ll also treat you to a delicious beach barbecue, a refreshing hike to the cascading El Limon Waterfall, and a thrilling boat trip where you can spot majestic humpback whales (dec-april) and visit the iconic Bacardi Island.
Nightly Dose of Dance: Las Terrenas comes alive at night! Las Terrenas is renowned for its vibrant nightlife, where professional dancers visit different clubs each evening to entertain and dance with visitors. Get ready for unforgettable dance parties under the tropical night sky.

Day 7: Laguna Dudu & Sosua
As we bid farewell to Las Terrenas, take a refreshing break at the breathtaking Laguna Dudu. This hidden gem nestled amidst lush greenery boasts crystal-clear waters perfect for a swim, a snorkeling adventure, or a thrilling zipline plunge.
After this invigorating stop, we’ll continue our journey to Sosua near Puerto Plata, where our hotel awaits. Take advantage of some free time in the afternoon and explore the vibrant nightlife scene.

Day 8: Puerto Plata & Santiago
Our journey continues to Puerto Plata, where we’ll start the day with a city tour. Visit the historic Fortaleza San Felipe, stroll along the Malecón, and explore the old city center. After lunch, we’ll take a cable car ride to Mount Isabel de Torres for breathtaking views and a walk through the tropical botanical garden to explore the beauty of the lush greenery and exotic flora.
Dominican Nights: Immerse yourself in the electrifying energy of a “colmado,” a traditional Dominican neighborhood bar, in Ocean World. Savor delicious drinks and lose yourself in the pulsating rhythms of local music.

Day 9: Santiago de los Caballeros
En route to Santiago, we’ll take a scenic mountain road, stopping for a refreshing cup of authentic Dominican coffee at Cafe Del Yaroa along the way.
Son de Keka: Upon arrival in Santiago, we’ll dive into a Son Salsa crash course, learning about its local influences and basic steps. After that we’ll be ready join the festive Son de Keka in the Los Pepines neighborhood, where locals celebrate their heritage with vibrant street dancing.

Days 10-12: Punta Rucia
Buckle up for an adrenaline-pumping adventure as we journey to our final beach destination: Punta Rucia. To break up the exciting drive, we’ll conquer the 27 Charcos de Damajagua, a series of cascading waterfalls hidden within a tropical canyon. Hike to the top, slide down the natural waterslides, cool off in refreshing pools, and jump into crystal-clear waters – an unforgettable experience awaits!
After conquering the waterfalls, unwind and relax on the pristine beaches of Punta Rucia. Here, you’ll have a day and a half to soak up the Dominican sun at your own pace. Those seeking more adventure can join a boat trip to the idyllic Cayo Arena, a sandbar known for its shallow turquoise waters and vibrant marine life.

Day 12: Tamboril & Jarabacoa
With a final swim in the turquoise waters behind us, we’ll head towards Tamboril, the self proclaimed world capital of cigars. Here we’ll immerse ourselves in the Dominican Culture by visiting a local cigar factory and learn the art of cigar making. Who knows, maybe we’ll have a dance there too! Because, to entertain the workers, bachata, merengue, and salsa is continually coming out of the speakers.
In the evening, we’ll continue to Jarabacoa, a charming town nestled in the mountains. Enjoy some free time to relax, perhaps savoring your newly acquired cigars with a glass of Dominican rum.

Day 13: Jarabacoa & Rio Fula
Our last travel day begins with a visit to a beautiful waterfall and a trip to Rio Fula. Here, we’ll cool off and soak up the local atmosphere at Rio Fula, a refreshing river frequented by Dominicans. Picture yourself relaxing with your feet dipped in the cool water, enjoying a delicious lunch, and dancing to the infectious rhythms of local music. As the day winds down, we’ll return to Santo Domingo, ready for a final night of reflection and celebration.

Day 14: Santo Domingo
All good things must come to an end. Today is your last day in the Dominican Republic. Enjoy some free time for souvenir shopping, last-minute dips in the pool, or goodbyes with newfound friends. We’ll arrange your airport transfer to ensure a smooth journey home.
